| ~ Saturday, March 1st, 2008 12:30-4:30 $40 to pre-register by February 23rd $45 at the door ~ In this 4 hour workshop you will learn the hand movements, chants, clapping sequences, practice and we will perform an actual Guedra. ~ Jendayi will discuss costuming, headdress, the use of Frankincense and Myrrh and bless all the women in attendance. ~ Workshop loaction: Hammond Park Community Center 705 Hammond Dr. Sandy Springs GA 30328 ~ |

| Jendayi will also have a headress to display in various stages so you can see the process as well as her full costume to show the class. Please wear a blue caftan or bring blue cotton fabric that can be wrap ed around yourself like a Sari. You may also use a blue sheet that you don't mind cutting. Pants can be harem or any loose fitting natural fiber pant. If you would like to bring a wire hanger or any easily bendable wire we can start on the base of the headdress. |
